Born in Madrid in 1996, Izan is a person with a strong sense of leadership and a keen awareness of his environment, skills that are reflected in his daily work and interaction with the team. In addition, he possesses commercial knowledge and vast work experience that complement his technical and artistic profile.
Fascinated with puzzles, hidden secrets and hacks since he was a boy, computers drag his attention in highschool. Motivated by the motto “freedom through knowledge”, he finally graduated in Computing Engineering, and completed a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, both at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). Understanding how things work from the inside allows to predict and improve them. But knowledge becomes a weapon when it is kept hidden. Technology should bring the society together, freely, transparently and without discrimination, and so is my will, empower users with tools and information to claim back the security and freedom in the cyberworld.
Graduated in Mathematics at USAL, former member of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection research group doing his Master’s Thesis in Industrial Mathematics with specialization in mathematical modeling. The work he is doing deals with local structure theorems of systems of ordinary differential equations and has utilities to study the behavior of solutions of dynamical systems around equilibrium points.
Born in Burgos in 1997 and graduated in the double degree of Mathematics and Computer Engineering at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and in the Master of Cybersecurity at the University of Nebrija together with IMF. He is part of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection research group (GiCP) since June 2022 and develops machine learning and natural language processing techniques for threat detection in data streams.
Graduated with a double degree in Mathematics and Computer Engineering from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has been with the Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection Research Group since October 2022. With the aim of ensuring a clean and verifiable access to information from social networks and media; he performs community analysis and automatic search of sources through the application of explainable Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing.
